Killington opens one run for passholders; Ski swaps continue

Posted Saturday, October 13, 2012
— Fall & early season, Killington, Alpine / downhill skiing

Killington is opening one run today (Rime) for passholders only! No grooming, just newly manmade snow for expert skiers.

Other resorts are firing up snowmaking guns during this cold spell when we've seen some pretty "snowliage" — snow juxtaposed against colorful fall foliage.

Ski swaps continue this month throughout Vermont. Check the posting further down on this list. We keep it updated as new information comes in. This weekend you'll find one in Essex Junction.

It's getting to be exciting now that we've seen snow flurries in the ski towns and some small accummulations atop our mountain peaks!
