Hi there!
Just a short question from Denmark, Europe.
We're planning going på the US/New York round Easter next year. Thinking about a trip to Vermont, but will there possibly be snow there or is it to late for the ski season??
Thanks fra Anne Sofie.

Well hello to you! Looks like Easter is Sunday, April 12. Some of our ski resorts have sunrise services at the top of their mountains on Easter morning. Worth checking out if you are in Vermont that day. You ride the lift up in the dark.
This past ski season had phenomenal spring skiing into mid-April. Check out my blog posts from April: http://www.skimaven.com/archive/2008/04/
But it isn't always that good in April, it just depends on Mother Nature. Sometimes at Easter there are just a couple of thinning runs open at the ski resorts with the highest altitude. So check this ski blog before your trip to see how the season progresses.

My first runs will be at Smuggs!
@Anne -- in the list of Vermont ski resorts in this post, the ones that open earlier also have more extensive snowmaking (and generally higher elevations), and would be good to look at for your April ski trip. Have fun!
