April snow means we keep making turns

Old Man Winter seems to be a bit confused this year. He is making it snow in the springtime, rather than dumping snow on us in the winter months. Well, we'll take it whenever he can offer it.

The Skimeister and I earned some turns Saturday at a closed ski area in northern Vermont. We like the workout while skinning up the hill, and we enjoy the quiet ambiance and the snowy scene as we ascend the mountain. Since there really isn't of a base of snow in the woods in our area, we also like having at least some semblance of a manmade base under the fresh snow, as well.

Hope you've been enjoying the snow while it lasts!
