A couple inches of fresh powder on March 25. So nice!

I skied at Smugglers' Notch ski resort on Friday, and I have to tell you: It's still winter up on the hill!

We skied in three inches of fresh powder, on top of the snow they got earlier this week. The coverage was very good for the end of March. In fact, it felt more like late-February!

I was skeptical about what we would find in the woods, because we had warm temperatures last week and then it's been cold since. But it was even good where they hadn't groomed! The glades were great!

The trees were frosty and snow-laden — especially near the summits. What a treat it was to get a little light powder to play in on March 25 in northern Vermont!
