Update on 3/14/20: Middlebury Snow Bowl will close for the season on Sunday afternoon, as will Rikert Nordic Center. They said Middlebury College is taking measures “in response to current health events.”

This virus sucks. Yes, I know that's the understatement of the decade.

In northern Vermont, both Jay Peak and Burke Mountain resorts will close for the season on Saturday afternoon. They don't want to exacerbate the spread of the coronavirus. It may also be a cost-saving move.

Please take care of yourselves and older family members, co-workers and neighbors.
