We were so happy to see the forecast for this past weekend change for the better! Forecasters had been warning of rain, but in the mountains it snowed and snowed some more! Thank goodness!

We clicked into our skis and toured in the woods up here in northern Vermont. We were surrounded by white. The snow clung to the trees. We swished our way through the dense snow that piled up.

Good stuff!

It's been a tough year, but spending time in the snowy woods makes things so much better!

Quiz: For all you savvy people out there. Do you know what is pictured up in the tree in my photo?

TAKE NOTE!

In an attempt to keep COVID-19 in check, Vermont and its ski resorts have NEW RESTRICTIONS AND RULES about traveling to the state and skiing/riding at resorts. Review the rules on any Vermont ski area website. You can also learn more at these sites:

So grateful for new snow! At higher elevations in northern Vermont, we've seen quite a bit of fluffy new snow in the last couple of days. Above 1600 feet or so there's often a decent, frozen base, as…
