About a foot of fresh snow to play in

— Jay Peak, Killington, Alpine / downhill skiing

I'm going skiing in the morning! Yippee!

The boards are waxed and my boot bag is packed. I'm interested to see how the new Green Ski Wax I just used will hold up for me. It smelled different when I put it on -- but the great thing is that it doesn't have PFCs or petroleum.

At work today I was following Twitter and Facebook and hearing that on average Vermont's ski resorts got 12 inches or so over the last 24 hours. Wind caused some ski lifts to be on lift hold (don't you hate how that happens on powder days!).

Anyways, here are a couple of shots from today from Killington (top) and Jay Peak (bottom) -- both taken by the respective resorts. I will be sure to at least grab a couple of shots in between the face shots that I'll get tomorrow. Ha!

Did you get out in this new snow?
