Bolton Valley faces west and offers wonderful views to Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.

When the sun is shining for both weekend days, and the ski season is winding down, you better believe we hit the slopes again today!

The Skimeister and I headed over to Bolton Valley Resort mid-morning to gobble up some more soft-snow turns. We were really surprised at how few people were there! Those who were there included a bunch of families who were having fun in the sun. Kids ski school lessons were active, too.

Bolton Valley had their main Vista quad lift open, as well as the Timberline quad, the Mighty Mite beginner lift and two doubles: the Mid-Mountain and Snowflake. There were a lot of lifts for only a handful of ways down the mountain, but that made for absolutely no lift lines!

The snow softened up more and more as we skied into the afternoon. The blue-sky views to Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, Mt. Mansfield and Camel's Hump were great today. It was such a relaxing, fun way to spend our Sunday!

Better spring ski while you can!
