Fall is ski swap time! Here’s “the list” of Vermont ski swaps for 2018!

It starts with the changing leaves. The color shows itself slowly at first. And then, before you know it, the leaves are gone and we’re celebrating the first fresh snowflakes of the season.

Fall in Vermont also brings ski swaps. And quite a few of them, too. We compile a list every year so you can plan accordingly. Do you have ski or snowboard gear to sell? Or do you need a few pieces of gear for the family? Better start figuring it out now – before the snow flies!

September 22

South Burlington Boosters Ski Swap
So. Burlington High School
Sale is on Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is September 21 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the high school.

September 28 - 30

Pico Ski Club Ski & Snowboard Swap and Sale
Pico Mountain Base Lodge, Mendon, Vermont
Sale is Friday from 5 - 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Consignments accepted September 22 from 3 - 5 p.m. (Pico Retail Shop); September 23 from 10 a.m. - Noon (Pico Retail Shop); September 26 from 4 - 6 p.m. (Pico Retail Shop); September 27 from 4 - 6 p.m. (Pico Snow Sports Room); and September 28 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. (Pico Snow Sports Room).

October 5 - 7

Killington Ski & Snowboard Club Ski Swap
Ramshead Base Lodge, Killington
Sale is Friday, 5 - 9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Consignment drop-off at Ramshead Base Lodge is Sept. 29, 1 - 4 p.m.; Sept. 30, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Oct. 4, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Oct. 5, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Oct. 6, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

October 6 & 7

Smugglers' Notch Ski & Snowboard Club Sale
Tarrant Center, St. Michael’s College, Colchester/Winooski
Sale is Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is Friday 6 - 8 p.m.

October 12 & 13 

Colchester Ski/Skate Sale
Colchester High School
Sale is Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Drop off equipment on October 12 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

October 20

Montpelier Rec Department Ski & Skate Sale
Montpelier High School
Sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Drop off items on October 19 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

October 28

Craftsbury Outdoor Center Ski Swap
Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Craftsbury, Vermont
Sale is Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Drop off consignment gear on October 26 from 3 - 8 p.m. and October 27 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

October 28

Burke PTO Ski Swap
Burke Town School, West Burke, Vermont
Sale is Sunday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Drop off equipment on October 27 from 12 - 3 p.m. 

November 1

Backcountry Ski & Board Swap
Rochester Town Green, Rochester, Vermont
Sale is Thursday from 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Drop off gear during that time.

November 3 & 4

Cochran's Ski Sale
Camel's Hump School, Richmond, Vt.
Sale is Saturday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is November 2 from 6 - 8:30 p.m.

November 10

Rotary Winter Sports Sale
Twin Valley Elementary School, Wilmington, Vermont
Sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Drop off consignment items at the school on Friday from 4 - 6 p.m.

November 10 & 11

Waitsfield Ski and Skate Sale
Waitsfield Elementary School, Waitsfield
Sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5  p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Consignment drop-off on November 9 from 4 - 7 p.m.

November 16 - 18

Okemo Mountain School Ski and Snowboard Swap
Main Base Lodge, Okemo Mountain Resort, Ludlow
Sale is Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. (go an hour earlier for $5); Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Equipment drop-off is at Sitting Bull Restaurant, Main Base Lodge, Okemo Mountain — enter near First Aid Building — on November 10, 11 and 14 between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

November 17 & 18

Cambridge Area Rotary Ski & Ride Swap
Cambridge Community Center, 22 Old Main St., Jeffersonville
Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is November 16 from 6 - 8 p.m.

November 23 - 25

Stratton Mountain School Ski Sale
SMS gym at 7 World Cup Circle, Stratton Mountain
Sale is Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Nov. 21 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the school gym.

December 1

Northeast Slopes Ski Swap
Northeast Slopes ski lodge, Rte 25, East Corinth, VT
Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Donate gear in good working condition on November 30 behind the lodge, in rope tow building.
