When there's a chill in the air and we start to reach for fleece layers, that's a sure sign that ski swaps will take place in Vermont!

Here's our annual round-up of ski swaps in Vermont. We’ll update this list as more information comes in. Bookmark this page!

2021 Vermont Ski Swaps and Benefit Ski Sales

September 25

South Burlington High School Ski & Board Sale

Sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
South Burlington High School gym, Dorset Street, So. Burlington
Because of COVID-19, there is no public consignment.

October 1 - 3

Pico Ski Club’s Ski & Snowboard Swap and Sale

Pico Mountain Base Lodge, Mendon, Vermont
Sale is Friday from 5 - 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Consignments accepted. Register them in advance online then bring them to Pico on September 25 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; September 26 from 2 - 5 p.m.; September 29 from 4 - 6 p.m.; September 30 from 4 - 6 p.m.; or October 1 from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

October 8 - 10

Killington Ski & Snowboard Club Ski Swap

Ramshead Base Lodge, Killington, Vt.
Sale is Friday, 5 - 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Consignment drop-off at Ramshead Base Lodge is October 2, 1 - 4 p.m.; Oct. 3, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Oct. 7, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Oct. 8, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; and Oct. 9, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

October 9 - 10

Smuggs Ski and Snowboard Sale

Tarrant Center, St. Michael's College, Winooski/Colchester, Vt.
Sale is Saturday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is October 8 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

October 17

Waitsfield Elementary School Ski & Skate Sale

New date and new location!
Mad River Glen ski area, Fayston, Vt.
Sale is Sunday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. First hour early shopping -- by appointment -- for a fee of $10; buy ticket on their website. Sale volunteers shop earlier.
Pre-register your consignment gear on their website.
Shoppers must wear masks and shopper entry will be regulated to allow for more social distancing.

October 31

Burke Town School Ski Swap

Burke Town School, West Burke, Vermont
Sale is Sunday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Consignment and donations accepted on October 30 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Masks required, limited capacity in the swap, and sign-in sheet.

November 6 - 7

Cochran’s Ski & Ride Sale

New location!
Outdoors at Cochran's Ski Area, Richmond, Vermont
Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Online consignment is from October 20 - November 3 on their website. Then drop off equipment on November 5 from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Shoppers asked to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing.

November 19 - 21

Okemo Mountain School Ski Sale

Round House, Jackson Gore Inn, Okemo Mountain Resort, Ludlow, Vt.
Sale is Friday 4 - 7 p.m. (3 - 4 p.m. early buy hour; $5 admission or free for Okemo employees); Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Consignment drop-off is at the Round House on November 13, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; November 14, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and November 17, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

November 19 & 20

Cambridge Area Rotary Ski, Ride & Winter Gear Sale

Cambridge Community Center in Jeffersonville, Vermont
Sale is on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 
Pre-register your consignment gear and sign up for a drop-off time. Drop-offs are offered on November 19 between 5 - 7 p.m.
Masks required; hand sanitizer at entrance and exit; people must sign in and out; limited number of people in the building; and other COVID-related guidelines as necessary.

November 20

Frost Mountain Nordic Club Ski Swap

Rikert Nordic Center, Ripton, Vermont
Sale is Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Fill out consignment forms on their website in advance. Consignment drop-off is November 19 from 4-6 p.m.
